Chris’s love of teaching tennis led him to pursue his B.A. in Physical Education at the University of Missouri St. Louis (“UMSL”). During his time at FRC, Chris has taught and managed every type of student and program, respectively, from Tiny Tots and high-level juniors to beginning adults in KickStart and experienced players in Wednesday High-Level Drills; understanding that different players learn by different means, Chris communicates in the style that best suits how his student learns, individually, while bringing his enthusiasm and love of the game to all his students.
2022 marked the year that Chris took on a new role as FRC’s Director of Tennis. As Director, Chris’s duties include management and recruiting of FRC teaching professionals, creation and oversight of educational programming, and scheduling of FRC’s programs, lessons, and court time.
While adding to his responsibilities at FRC, all of Chris’s duties are performed with the same goal that he has had since first discovering during his teenage years his joy for teaching: to impart the lifelong gift of tennis to every student, and all the positive impacts that the sport brings.
